University Transfer
Los Angeles Pierce College is one of the top ranked academic transfer colleges in California. Pierce has the number one transfer rate to both the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and California State University Northridge (CSUN). In fact, Pierce is tenth statewide for all CSU (California State University) transfers and eleventh statewide for all University of California transfers awarding over 2,400 Associate Degrees and Certificates for Transfer each year! In addition, Pierce has transfer agreements with other public and private universities.
Pierce provides premier instruction with small class sizes and online student support services and are customized for each student’s individual needs and living situation. International students can study at our beautiful campus in Los Angeles or fully online.
Students may opt to do both, studying in Southern California during the Fall and Spring and returning home to study online for Winter or Summer sessions. Pierce combines outstanding academic programs with comprehensive student support to ensure the success of our students.

Transcripts
College/University transcripts: Must be sent directly to Pierce College using Parchment.
AP/CLEP/IB test scores: Must be sent electronically directly from the issuing agency. (ie. College Board)
Please check your LACCD student email regularly. We will email you when we have received and processed your transcript.
Official transcripts are only needed for graduation purposes. If you are not planning to graduate from Los Angeles Pierce College, please do not send transcripts. The "to do" item related transcripts does not prevent your from enrolling in classes.
If you need to clear a prerequisite, please contact the Counseling Department and provide them a copy of your unofficial transcript.
Fall 2023 Graduation Petitions
In order to receive your degree or certificate, you must file for graduation. Graduation petitions can be submitted in your student portal. If you need assistance filing a graduation petition, schedule a counseling appointment.
Diplomas

Have Your Diploma/Certificate Mailed
Submit a Diploma Mailing Request to have your diploma mailed to you. Processing time is 4-6 weeks after receipt of request.
Duplicate Diplomas/Certificates
Submit a Request for Duplicate Diploma/Certificate. At this time, we can only accept duplicate diploma and certificate requests through the mail.Processing time is 4-6 weeks after receipt of request.
