What is an Associate Degree?

The Associate degree typically takes two years to complete and is the first step in earning a Bachelor’s Degree. After completing the Associate degree students can transfer as a third-year student (“Junior”) to a university to complete the second half of their Bachelor Degree requirements. Pierce’s university transfer agreements and high transfer rates allow our online students to complete an undergraduate degree at a reduced cost without housing and travel expenses.
