College Student Food & Assistance Resources

CalFresh provides eligible students up to $192 monthly aid to purchase food at any store that accepts Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT). CalFresh is federally known as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and funded through the USDA, Farm Bill and CDSS.

LA Pierce College's Brahma Pantry and Basic Needs

The Brahma Pantry and Basic Needs Program provides students with access to food, ongoing motivational support and referrals to agencies that are designed to meet students’ basic needs i.e. physical, psychological/emotional and economic needs.

To schedule an appointment via phone or Zoom: Please complete the Brahma Pantry Appointment Request Form if you would like to schedule a meeting to discuss your needs. Please include the following information on question 4:

  • Your preferred method of meeting (phone or zoom)
  • Preferred meeting days and times
  • Your best email or phone number
