Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (formerly CARES Distribution)

The Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), signed into law on March 27, 2020 and funds were distributed to institutions of higher education to address the disruptions caused by COVID-19.

Bank Mobile

The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) utilizes the BankMobile refund process. If selected as an award recipient, students will be notified of the amount he/she is eligible for through the LACCD assigned email.

Funds will be disbursed through the Bank Mobile refund process. For federal compliance, Los Angeles Pierce College must show the amount of the emergency funding you receive in your financial aid award for the specific award year.
