S.T.O.P.: SMOKING & TOBACCO OFF PIERCE

Health Center Tobacco

Free and Confidential On-Campus Resource for Smoking Cessation Support

STOP (Smoking & Tobacco Off Pierce) Program is a free service provided through the Student Health Center. Services include:

  • On-going individual smoking counseling
  • Visits, as needed, with Medical Providers

One-on-one counseling sessions provide analysis and reflection of habits to help promote positive strategies and coping skills for changing cognition and behavior to quit smoking. The positive orientation of the program eliminates the negative responses of guilt, shame, and failure, focusing on self-efficacy, empowerment, and success.

If you're ready to quit or want to recommend someone to quit, call us at (818) 710-4270 and make an appointment with a medical provider, you may also walk in for information and resources.
