Pierce College Theatre opens season with new adaptation of chilling fable FRANKENSTEIN

Pierce College Theatre will open its 2025-2026 Season beginning October 24 with John Nick Dear’s acclaimed adaptation of the Mary Shelley classic fable, Frankenstein. Performances begin Friday, Oct. 24 and continue through Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025 in LAPC’s Performing Arts Mainstage Theatre.
Creation and destruction collide in this riveting saga, one of a forsaken creature, exiled by the very hand that gave him life and forced to navigate a perilous existence. For more than 200 years, this haunting tale has ensnared the hearts and minds of audiences. Nick Dear's celebrated adaptation breathes fervor into Mary Shelley's chilling fable, illuminating themes of societal rejection, unfettered ambition, and the fundamental question of what it means to be human.
LAPC Theatre’s production is directed by Shaheen Vaaz. The cast features Haley Anglin, Grant Asner, Trevor Bowens, Deniz Boysan, Tobey Chapman, Terri Chase, Shane Chung, Elena Cosma, Lucy Davidson, Loumaile Finau, Leon Gael, Luke Mena, Rocco Perdenza, Charley Ramos, Ali Suliman, Tori Swick and Shannon Toledo.
The production features scenic and lighting design by Michael Gend, costume design by Nataly Gomez and sound design by DJ Medina. Jacob Garcia is the stage manager. Original music is written by Sarah Ruopp.
Frankenstein will open in LAPC’s Performing Arts Mainstage on the Pierce College campus on Friday, Oct. 24 and continue through Sunday, Nov. 2. Please Note: There will be a special sign interpreted performance on Sat., Oct. 25 at 7:30pm. Performance times are Friday and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm. Tickets are priced at $15 for students and seniors and $20 for general admission. Free parking is conveniently located in parking lot #6 on the Pierce College campus (6201 Winnetka Ave., Woodland Hills, CA, 91371), adjacent to the Performing Arts Center.
