Facility Rental and Filming

Los Angeles Pierce College (LAPC) offers a variety of rental facilities on its expansive 400-acre, Woodland Hills campus, available for use by the public and outside organizations.

The campus provides a range of venues for different types of events, from athletic events to performances and gatherings.

The rental options at Pierce College are diverse, accommodating various needs. They include:

• Academic and Meeting Spaces: Classrooms of various sizes can be rented for workshops, lectures, or classes.
• Performance and Event Spaces: For cultural or large public events, the campus features a Theater, Dance Studio, Gymnasium, the "Great Hall," the “600 Bldg”, and Rocky Young Park outdoor area.
• Athletic Venues: The College's Athletic facilities are available for rent, including the Baseball and Softball Fields, Stadium (football, soccer, field sports), Gymnasium, Track, Cross-Country Course, Tennis Courts, and both Small and Large Swimming Pools.
• Open Spaces / Parking Lots: Large parking lots and open campus areas, such as Rocky Young Park, Quad areas, the Botanical Garden, and Horticulture area, can also be rented for events and other needs.
• Equestrian Facilities: Uniquely, Pierce College also has equestrian facilities, with both a covered and open arena available for rent.

  FILMING:

Los Angeles Pierce College (LAPC) does allow filming on campus as long as there is no disruption to Academic or College functions.

Classrooms (including specific classrooms-Labs, Nursing, Pre-School, Auto Tech, Music Studio, Art Studio, etc.), Quads, Rocky Young Park (and other open field areas), Cafeteria, Library, Bookstore, Botanical Garden, and Athletic areas may be available for filming.

The Events Office is responsible for all commercial filming done at Pierce College, which is private property. All filming on Campus, regardless of size and scope of the filming project, require permission from the Events Office to film.

All rentals, including filming, must be coordinated well in advance (up to 45 days in advance) and must have the requisite insurance paperwork, per LACCD protocols.
