Bystander CPR and AED Training: Take a Moment to Save a Life

This Thursday, April 17, 2025, the Pierce College Student Health Center invites you to invest one hour of your day in learning skills that could save a life. From 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Multicultural Center, Fireman Hill will lead an essential bystander CPR and AED training workshop designed for participants of all experience levels. During this accessible one-hour session, you'll receive hands-on instruction in proper cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques and learn how to confidently use an Automated External Defibrillator in emergency situations. No prior medical knowledge is necessary—just bring your willingness to learn and practice these critical life-saving interventions. The training on April 17th accommodates everyone from complete beginners to those refreshing their skills, making this Thursday morning opportunity valuable for students, faculty, staff, and community members alike. By dedicating just sixty minutes of your day, you'll gain the confidence and competence to respond effectively during cardiac emergencies, potentially making the difference between life and death for someone in need.
