Transfer to a University of California (UC) Campus
- Completion of 60 UC transferable units & the Seven Course Breadth Pattern:
- Completion of English and Math general education requirements
- Two English Courses
- One Math Course
- Four transferable college courses chosen from at least two of the following subject areas:
- Arts and Humanities
- Social and Behavioral Sciences
- Physical and Biological Sciences
- Minimum 2.4 GPA- may vary by campus & major
- Complete your Major Preparation coursework for each campus as soon as possible. Major requirements are found on Assist.org
- Complete your General Education (GE) coursework by following the Cal-GETC
- Consider joining a transfer program like UCLA CCCP, Honors Transfer Program, Berkeley TAP
Apply the year before you would like to attend. For example, if you intend to finish your coursework by Spring 2026, you would submit an application or apply Fall 2025.
