Noor Kalla received the distinguished Ed Walsh Scholarship in recognition of his leadership and service.

Their achievements were among only 37 scholarships awarded statewide this year, totaling $42,750.

The Pierce delegation also brought home a series of spirited awards, including honors for best depiction of the convention theme, most humorous t-shirt design, and most outrageous name tags. The Pi Chapter was recognized by the California Community Colleges Board of Trustees for their impactful service with the Brahma Bodega, which combats student food insecurity on campus.

Credit for the chapter’s success is shared with a devoted group of faculty advisors—Carman Wimsatt, Lisa Valdez, and Kaycea Campbell—whose mentorship continues to empower student leaders. Additional support from Pierce’s Associated Student Organization, the Office of Student Engagement, and college staff illustrates the collaboration that supports student achievement.
