Prof. Sheryl Nomelli Presents a Women’s History Event:
“The Screaming Queens: The Riot at Compton’s Cafeteria”
- A film screening about transgender women and drag queens who fought police harassment in San Francisco in 1966, 3 years before the famous Stonewall riot
in New York.
