Cameron Wilkins: Trumpet Recital

Cameron Wilkins is an active freelance musician and educator throughout Southern California. He can be found performing with groups such as the Pacific Opera Project (POP), Culver City/Marina del Rey Symphony Orchestra, and small chamber ensembles of various genres. Cameron serves the Los Angeles and Ventura counties as a brass/trumpet clinician, private trumpet instructor, and is an adjunct instructor of trumpet at Los Angeles Pierce College. In addition to his freelance work, Cameron is currently working towards completion of a Doctorate degree in Trumpet Performance from the University of Southern California under the mentorship of Tom Hooten (Principal Trumpet/LA Philharmonic) and Jennifer Marotta (Freelance Musician). In his free time Cameron enjoys at home audio recording and sound engineering, as well as various genres of music from jazz through commercial music. Cameron holds a Master of Music degree in Classical Trumpet Performance from California State University, Northridge under the mentorship of Jon Lewis (LA Studio Musician).
This concert is part of the free ASO Concert Series every Thursday from 1pm-2pm in the Performing Arts Building.
