THE 400 BLOWS / LES 400 COUPS (1959) is a classic Truffaut film about child abuse.

Followed by a Q&A with Prof. Donna Accardo, Department of English, and Prof. Denis Pra, Department of Modern Languages. Multicultural Center.

Twelve-year-old Antoine Doinel (Jean-Pierre Léaud) has troubles at home and at school. Ignored and neglected by his parents, his relationship with his mother is further strained when he discovers that she has taken a secret lover.
