Biomanufacturing B.S. Degree Program
Biomanufacturing is where Bioscience meets Engineering, Law, and Business. Pierce's Biomanufacturing B.S. program offers an interdisciplinary curriculum that prepares you to be versatile and adaptable in the future Biomanufacturing workforce landscape. Start your career at Pierce and complete the entire Baccalaureate program with a fraction of the cost of attending a typical 4-year University!
Lower division courses: $46 per unit
Upper division courses: $130 per unit
~ $10,000 of tuition cost for the entire 4 years at Pierce.
Eligibility:
Completion of an A.S. Biotechnology Degree OR related degrees with relevant coursework/ industry experience.
Essential coursework:
- Introduction to Biotechnology/ Biomanufacturing (Biotech 001)
- Basic Laboratory Technique - lab course (Biotech 002)
- General Chemistry (Chem 51 or Chem 60 or higher)
- General Biology (Biology 006)
- Quality and Regulatory in Biotechnology (Biotech 006)
- Mammalian Cell Culture (Biotech 102)
- Statistics (Math 227)
Credit for prior learning will be given for:
- Comparable coursework at other colleges
- Industry experience with relevant skillsets
- Industry-recognized certification (CQIA, CPIM, BioTC, BACE, etc)
Students who are working on their A.S. Biotechnology or expect to complete the essential coursework by Spring 2026 are encouraged to apply.
