Fully Online Associate Degrees for Transfer

The new joint transfer program from the California Community Colleges and the California State Universities makes it easier for students like you to transfer between the two school systems. For the first time in California history, community college students who complete a new AA-T or AS-T will be guaranteed admission to the California State University (CSU) system. With this new degree, you have the opportunity to complete two degrees with only 120 units if you apply and are admitted into a similar degree program.

International Student Services Website
International Student Services (ISS) provides comprehensive service to prospective and current F-1 Visa international students. This includes assistance with the international application, F-1 status advisement, and academic counseling.

The Pierce College Library has resources and help for research, quiet study spaces, and computer workstations.
We also offer 24/7 chat reference for research help when you need it.

Counseling Website
Pierce Counseling Department serves all current and prospective students. Counselors can help students clarify their goals, make an academic plan, and monitor their progress. The counseling center offers online academic advising. Online counseling at Pierce gives students and prospective students the opportunity to ask general questions that pertain to reaching their educational goals at Los Angeles Pierce College.

Health Center
The Health Center is committed to delivering expert medical care to students. Students enrolled in an online course and an on-campus course are entitled to Health Center services. Students who are only enrolled in an online course can opt to pay the health services fee of $11 per fall and spring semester and $8 for summer.

Disabled Student Services
Special Services is the program on campus providing services to students with disabilities. This program has been serving students since 1974. Each semester over 900 students with disabilities receive a wide range of support services that are not provided by other departments on campus and many services that are. This "One- Stop" approach creates a more user-friendly atmosphere for all our students.

Financial Aid Website
The Financial Aid Department assists students with information on how to receive money for a college education, including fees, books, supplies, living expenses, and child care.

Career Center
The mission is to educate and to serve the students of Los Angeles Pierce College in the career education, planning and development processes. Career Center services and resources provide assistance to students with the exploration of career options, the cultivation of a comprehensive employment and education plan, and the enhancement of job search techniques and strategies.

Transfer Center
The transfer center assists students online in determining courses needed to transfer, application information for UC and Cal State schools, transfer support, articulation agreements, and many more useful tools to help students successfully transfer to a four-year institution.
